Create an Anonymous Message Link for KakaoTalk Groups and Profiles
Make a password-protected question board, share its public link on KakaoTalk, test the visitor view, and understand what anonymous questions do and do not hide.

Want classmates to ask about an event without posting their names in the group chat? Share a separate question-board link on KakaoTalk. People open it in a browser, enter the board password, and leave a question without choosing a display name.
The distinction matters: this does not make your KakaoTalk messages anonymous. People can still see the Kakao profile that shared the link. LOCK.PUB Ask is also a shared Q&A board: visitors with access can read its questions and answers. It is not a private inbox visible only to its owner.
1. Create the question board
Open the anonymous message link tool. Enter a short public title, such as “Questions for Saturday's club meeting,” and set a dedicated password. Do not reuse your Kakao account password or put personal details in the title; a link preview may show it.
Select the create button. A signed-out creator can start through an automatic guest session. The result gives you a public invitation address in the form https://lock.pub/ask/your-slug. Copy the actual generated address, not this example. Visitors do not need a LOCK.PUB account to enter the password and submit a text question.
The free board accepts up to 10 questions in total; deleting a question does not restore that allowance. Automatic expiration is a Pro option in the full Ask creator. A deadline written in the title does not automatically close a board.
2. Share the right link in KakaoTalk
Paste the public Ask link into the intended conversation and explain the purpose, audience, and response schedule. For example:
Leave questions about the club meeting here. Everyone with board access can read questions and answers. Please leave out names and phone numbers. I will answer tomorrow evening.
Send the password only to the intended audience. For a restricted board, use another channel for the password. Putting both in a public profile makes both available to that audience, and forwarding can extend it further.
For profile sharing, use a link-capable field available in your version of KakaoTalk. Placement and clickability vary by app version and profile surface. Check from a recipient's device; if the link is plain text or missing, share it in a conversation instead. Do not assume a profile text field always opens websites.
3. Test the visitor view before announcing it
Use a separate browser session to open the public link, check the title, enter the password, and submit a harmless test question. Confirm that the question is visible on the board. Return through the creator's original session to answer or manage it; keep that session and account-management screens private. The invitation URL is not an owner credential.
If you created the board as a guest, clearing browser data can remove your management access. Link an account from that guest session before clearing data or switching devices.
If a Kakao preview looks old, test the destination itself. Kakao's official preview tools explain cached previews. Changing preview text is separate from changing access to the board.
Choose questions or live chat
Use Ask for collecting questions and owner replies. For an ongoing conversation among participants, use anonymous chat. Neither option hides the Kakao profile used to distribute the invitation.
4. Explain the limits of anonymity
No displayed sender name does not guarantee an unidentifiable sender. Wording, timing, a small audience, and technical records can expose clues. Avoid confidential complaints, emergency reports, or sensitive personal records. A password limits entry; it cannot prevent screenshots or forwarding. Remove abusive material through the owner's controls and explain your moderation rules before inviting people.
For another distribution channel, see the Instagram question-box guide. Keep the same rule everywhere: share the public invitation, protect the creator's session, and tell participants who can read their questions.
