LOCK.PUB supports 9 content types: password-protected links (URL redirect), secret memos, E2E encrypted chat rooms, anonymous polls, encrypted images, collaborative whiteboards, encrypted audio messages, anonymous Ask boards, and encrypted location sharing. All content is protected by a password.

LOCK.PUB cannot create a link without setting a password.

End-to-end encryption means your content is encrypted with your password before being sent to the server. The server only stores encrypted data, so even the server administrator cannot read your content. Only people with the correct password can decrypt and view it.

When you create a chat room, all messages are encrypted using the room password as the AES encryption key. The server only stores encrypted data. Anyone with the link and password can join anonymously. Free users get 50 messages per room; Pro users get unlimited.

All communication is encrypted via HTTPS, and user content is stored encrypted on the server. Chat and board content uses end-to-end encryption (E2E), meaning even the server cannot read the content. We do not collect unnecessary personal information and continuously apply security updates.
