How it works
The selected image is normalized to a WebP image up to 1,920 pixels wide, then encrypted for storage and delivered through a password screen. After unlock, the browser displays the protected image.
The recipient experience
No account is required to receive an image. The visitor opens the address, enters the password, and views the protected image in the browser if the link has not expired.
Before you begin
Available controls and their limits
Conversion may change the original. Unlocked images can be saved or captured.
Creator controls
Add a safe public description, choose a password, and select the availability options offered in the creator. Supported image formats and upload sizes are shown before upload and can differ by plan.
Protection boundary
Password protection limits access to the stored image; it does not add digital-rights management. Anyone who can view the image can still take a screenshot, save it, or share a copy.

What should I know before using Encrypted Images?
JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP inputs are accepted within the size shown for the current plan. Conversion can change animation, transparency, dimensions, or quality, so keep the original file when exact preservation matters.
