No. They open the link, enter the poll password, and select one choice without creating a participant account or display name.
No. A participant profile is not required, but LOCK.PUB processes technical access data and an organizer may infer a voter from timing, group size, or information shared outside the poll.
LOCK.PUB stores a keyed hash derived from the IP address, browser User-Agent, and poll ID to make repeat voting harder and protect the service from abuse. The vote record does not contain the raw IP address. It may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. This best-effort check can miss repeat voters or affect people sharing the same network or device.
Guest and Free polls support between 2 and 3 choices. Pro polls support between 2 and 10 choices.
No. LOCK.PUB does not verify voter identity or provide election-grade audit and duplicate-vote controls. Use a dedicated voting system for official, legal, employment, shareholder, or binding decisions.
Yes. Anyone who can view the poll may take a screenshot, copy its contents, or forward the link and password. LOCK.PUB cannot prevent those actions.
